Mrs. Effie Mae (Bowser) McCollum, 75, of 1411 Johnston Ave., Kittanning died Saturday (Sept. 10, 1966) at her home. Born May 4, 1891 in Monaca, she was a daughter of Roland S. and Matilda (Wolfe) Bowser. She was a 55-year member of First Baptist Church, Kittanning and also a member of the Fidelity Sunday School Class. Surviving are two sons, Paul J. McCollum of New Kensington and Roy R. McCollum of Industry; three daughters, Mrs. L. E. (Gladys) Butler of Fort Myers, Fla., Mrs. R. C. (Maxine) Cunningham of Perrysburg, Ohio and Mrs. H. R. (Helen) Benton of Kittanning; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. R. R. Croyle of New Kensington, Mrs. Harry Zellefrow of Kittanning and Mrs. Ray Frampton of 'Huntington, W. Va.; three brothers, William Bowser of Markle, Warren and Ernest Bowser both of New Kensington. McCOLLUM -Friends of Mrs. Effie Mae (Bowser) McCollum, 75 of 1411 Johnston Ave., Kittanning, who died Saturday (Sept. 10), are being received at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 13) with her pastor, Rev. Gordon E. Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder, Kittanning.
