Mrs. Jones had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Pheasant at Logan Ave., Lakemont, during the past three years. She was the daughter of John B., and Sarah (McClain) Davis and was born at Chauncey, O., on Aug. 31, 1879, and on NOv. 7, 1901, was united in marriage with Jesse H. Jones in Duncansville, where they resided until moving to Pleasant valley, where Mr. Jones died on Dec. 6, 1936.
Three children survive, Justine and William, both of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Pheasant of Lakemont; three grandchildren and one brother, Vincent Davis of Duncansville.
Mrs. Jones was a member of the Jaggard Memorial Methodist churchin Pleasant valley.
Friends will be received at the Pheasant home at Lakemont after 7 o'clock this evening.
