E. Vincent Davis, a Duncansville resident, died this morning at 7.20 o'clock at the Mercy hospital. Mr. Davis had not been in good health for some time and last week was walking from his home in Duncansville toward Hollidaysburg, when, at Wye Switches, he fell on the road. He was taken to the office of a Hollidaysburg physician who advised his removal to the hospital.
Mr. Davis was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Davis, the father being one of the last Civil war veterans. He was aged 58 and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriet (Strayer) Davis of Duncansville.
Friends will be received at the Liebegott funeral home in Duncansville after 7 o'clock this evening.
