Mrs. Sarah Davis widow of John B. Davis and for many years a resident of Duncansville, died this morning at 2.35 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.H. Jones of 1035 Hudson avenue, this city, death being attributed to a complication of ailments incident to advanced age. She was born on Oct. 22, 1848, and was united in marriage with John B. Davis, who died on April 23, 1927.

She was a member of the Hicks Memorial Methodist church in Duncansville. A few months ago she moved to Roaring Spring but when she became ill a few weeks ago she was brought to the home of her daughter in this city.

Three children survive, Ernest Vincent Davis of Duncansville, Lloyd Franklin Davis and Mrs. J. H. Jones of Altoona, and four grandchildren, Sarah Davis of Danville, Justine Jones of Pittsburgh and William Jones and Mrs. Harry Pheasant of Altoona and two great-grandchildren, Enid and Helen Justine Pheasant of Altoona.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Hicks Memorial Methodist church In Duncansville Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and Interment will be made In the Carson Valley cemetery.
