Linnie Darnella Jeffords, 92, of Fancy Bluff died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at her residence.

The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2002 in the Highsmith Cemetery in Waynesville with the Rev. Mike Landrum officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy M. Baugh of Blythe Island; a step-daughter, Joann German of Latta, S.C.; a son, Nyle T. Sports of De Funiac Springs, Fla.; three step-sons, John Jeffords of Camden, S.C., and James Jeffords and Delano Jeffords, both of Florence, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jeffords relocated to Glynn County from Florence, S.C. in 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
