BELOVED WOMAN CALLED IN DEATH

Mrs. Missouri Roberts, aged 57 years, 2 months and 20 days, wife of William Roberts, died at her home in Noble township, Monday evening [June 13] at 9 o'clock, death being caused from a complication of diseases of which she had suffered for several years.

Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Ogden cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix, funeral directors.

Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary [Neal] Gregory and was born in Noble township April 23, 1864. In 1885 she was united in marriage to Mr. Roberts. To this union four children were born, namely Vannoy Roberts, Virgil Roberts and Mrs. Ora Cuskaden, all of this county, and Russell Roberts, who preceded his mother three years ago, his death having occurred while receiving training at the vocational training school at Indianapolis during the World War.

Mrs. Roberts was one of the best known women in the county and was well liked by everyone. She was always ready to assist those in need and in her death the community has lost one of its most worthy citizens. She was a devoted member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Noble township. Besides the husband and children mentioned, she is survived by five grandchildren, and two brothers, Herbert Gregory of this city and Alonzo Gregory of Milford, Ind.
