Gladys M. "Mumsy" Szives, 76, a resident at the Manor of Susquehanna Village passed away on Thursday Jan. 15, 2009 at the manor.
She was born in Richfield, PA, daughter of the late Charles & Lena Snyder Arnold.
She was a member of Reigle's Bible Fellowship in Millersburg and enjyoed boating & camping.
Surviving are her husband, George Szives; two sons, Harvey of Halifax and Paul of Millersburg; a foster daughter, Elizabeth Weaver of Millersburg; three sisters, Grace Pennybaker of Penns Creek, Katie Goodling of Liverpool, Charlotte Yerger of Scranton; grandchildren, Kimberly Zigment, Kyle Szives, Adam Szives, Brett Weaver, Trent Weaver, Alicia Lehman, Nicole Lehman step-grandson, Brandon Witmer, great-grandsons Zackary and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by a baby daughter and her siblings Dervin Hupp, Thelma Miller, Pearl Miller, Bertha Silks, Luther Arnold, Cloyd Arnold, Henry Arnold, Harold Arnold, Charles Arnold.
Services will be held at Reigle's Bible Fellowship on Monday January 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Benjamin Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 10-11 AM Monday at the church. Arrangements by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg.
