OBITUARY: Resident of Buhl Claimed by Death. Buhl- Jan 13. Mrs. Gertrude Miller, 78, Buhl, a resident of this area since 1912, died at Magic Valley Memorial hospital about 4 p.m. Monday. Born in Etna, Mo., July 15, 1874, she was married to John Ruel Miller in Etna March 15, 1892. He died in 1914 after the family moved to Buhl from Sedgwick, Colo., in 1912. They farmed in the Lucerne area west of here and for some time south of Buhl. Mrs. Miller retired in 1936. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Frank Thatcher, Mrs. Matt Joens, Mrs. Lester Durfee and Mrs. Jewel Keen all Buhl; three sons, Clyde Miller and Joe Miller, both of Buhl, and Floyd Miller, who is serving in the army in Germany, one brother, Lester Nutter, Carlton, Mo., 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
