Floyd A (Low) Miller is the son of Gertrude Nutter-Miller by second marriage to John Low. Both he and his mother assumed Gertrude's first marriage surname, Miller.

Enlisted in the US Army in 1938. Lived in Chicage. Returned to Buhl in 1973 and later moved to Jerome.

He was fishing when he died from drowning after slipping on a concrete wall and falling into swift water.
