Ruth A. (Fiscus) Clever, 85, of Kittanning RD7, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996 at the Armstrong County Health Center, Kittanning. She was born Aug. 31, 1910 in Kittanning to Elmer and Francis (Lasher) Fiscus. Mrs. Clever was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ford City, where she was a former member of the church choir and the TNT Sunday school class. Survivors include one son, James W. Clever of Kittanning RD7; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (June) Cogley of Florida; two grandchildren; and one brother, Earl W. Fiscus of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, G. Thomas Clever, who died on July 27, 1973; one brother, Dent Fiscus; and one sister, Louis Klingensmith. CLEAVER- Friends of Ruth A. (Fiscus) Clever, 85, of Kittanning died Jan 21, 1996, will be received from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Robert Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, with her pastor, the Rev. William Hoffman, officiating. Interment will take place in the Limestone Church of God Cemetery, Washington Township. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Ford City, Arrangements by Welch.
