Elmer L. Fiscus, 76, of 1128 Sixth Ave. Ford City, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday (June 11, 1963) at Fair Rest Home, Applewold. Mr. Fiscus was born Oct. 8, 1886 in Armstrong County, a son of Henry and Susannah (Schrecengost) Fiscus. He was a retired employee of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. Ford City and was a member of First Baptist church, Ford City. Surviving are his widow Frances (Lasher) Fiscus, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Ruth) Clever of Ford City: a son, Earl W. Fiscus of Kittanning RD 7; a brother, Fred A. Fiscus of Ford City; two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Schall of New Kensington, Mrs. Mary Brink of Cowansville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Williams H. Schaffer, pastor of First Brethren Church, West Kittanning, will officiate. Interment will take place in Limestone Church of God Cemetery.
