Mildred Raelene Moore Taylor, 72, of Clendenin went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston after a long illness.

Raelene was a member of Thorofare Community Church.

She was the daughter of the late Lester and Emma Perry Moore.

Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Frances Amos and Marjorie Ashley.

Raelene is survived by her husband, Cecil Eugene "Gene" Taylor; son, Steven Taylor of Clendenin; daughter, Linda Taylor of Ocala, Fla.; sisters, Betty Beagle of Clendenin and Phyllis Melton and husband E.E. of Charleston; brother-in-law, Leo Ashley of Elkview; many nieces and nephews; and grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin with Pastor Claude Holly Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Koontz Cemetery in Clendenin.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
