Betty Lynn Beagle, 88, of Clendenin, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 15, 2017, at St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Elijah Lester Moore and Emma Perry Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Denis Ford Beagle; sisters, Frances Atha Ames, Majorie Mae Ashley, Phyllis Fae Melton and Mildred Raelene Taylor.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clendennin. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clendenin Chapter.

She is survived by Jim Beagle.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to your church, charity or the Alzheimer's Association for research. Also, a special thanks to the staff at St. Mary's and CAMC.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Pastor Joe Seese officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery, Clendenin.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 18, at Matics Funeral Home.
