Jean C. Moore, 86, of Henry, IL, formerly of Florida, died at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Jean was born May 27, 1922, in Henry, Ill., to Frank and Gertrude (Barnes) Bogner. She married Frank Kendall on July 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1972. She later married Joe Moore on July 26, 1986. He preceded her on Oct. 3, 2000.

She was the fourth child of 12 in her family.

Surviving are two brothers, Howard Bogner of Peoria and James (Barbara) Bogner of Lebanon, Tenn.

Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Jean was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Henry.

While living in Florida, she was retired from Publix Supermarkets after many years.

Following the death of her husband in 2000, she moved back to Illinois.

Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Bradford.
