He was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Henry to Frank (Gertrude Barnes) Bogner. He married Doris L. Kinsella on June 30, 1956, in Camp Grove. She survives, in Bradford.
Also surviving are four sons, Frank (Laurie) Bogner of Yorkville, Ill., Mark (Shelly) Bogner of Hennepin, Andrew Bogner of Henry and Dennis Bogner of Bradford; two daughters, Amy (Chuck) Peterson of Island Lake, Ill., and Lynne (John) Wright of Tiskilwa; three brothers, Howard Bogner of Peoria, Jim (Barbara) Bogner of Lebanon, Tenn., and Robert Bogner of Toulon; and two sisters, Mary Maher of Wyoming, Ill., and Jean Moore of Henry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John "Jack" Bogner, Eddie Bogner and Richard Bogner; and three sisters, Arlene Britt, Rita Frazier and Dorothy Westerfeld.
He graduated from Wyoming High School in 1952.
He served his country during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
Mr. Bogner was a farmer and enjoyed raising Angus cattle during his farming years. He retired from B.F. Goodrich, Henry.
He was a lifetime member of Bradford American Legion 445 and was Commander twice.
Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Bradford. Military services will be conducted by Bradford American Legion Post 445.
