Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Belker, their son Albert, and son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Belker, returned Saturday from St. Louis, where they motored to attend religious ceremonies at the mother house of the Notre Dame order of this province, Sancta Maria in Ripa.
Their daughter and sister, Sister Mary Albert, the former Miss Barbara Belker, made her simple vows in the order. Their other daughter, Sister Mary Concetta, the former Miss Odelia Belker, who is stationed in Breese, Illinois, was present for the ceremony.

Sister Mary Albert has been stationed this part year in New Orleans, as teacher of the fifth grade in the school there, conducted by the Sisters of Notre Dame, and left for the south again, Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Belker's son, Edward, who accompanied them, is remaining in St. Louis for a visit, and will not return until the latter part of the week. He completed his fifth year this June at Mays Lake seminary at Hinsdale, studying for the priesthood.

Among others who motored to St. Louis to attend the religious ceremony in Sancta Maria in Ripa, were two parties who went to attend the ceremony in which Sister Mary Doris received her final vows in the Sisterhood of Notre Dame.

Sister Mary Doris will be remembered as Miss Marie Grawe of Melrose [township, Adams county, Illinois.] Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Antony Grawe, and three daughters, Miss Esther, Miss Celia, and Miss Mildred, of Melrose [township], motored down for the services.

Mrs. Henry Aalbers and Mrs. Elizabeth Grawe and daughter Betty, and sons, Alvin and Charles, also motored to St. Louis last week, and returned home Saturday evening. They witnessed the ceremony at Sancta Maria in Ripa, in which Mrs. Grawe's niece, Sister Mary Doris, received the vows; and visited Mrs. Aalber's son, Arthur, who is in training at Jefferson Barracks.
