Arthur Willis Baldwin was the son of Civil War Veteran and Kansas Pioneer Henry Gilbert Baldwin and his wife Eleanor (Fisher) Baldwin. He is a descendant of the Puritan Henry Baldwin who migrated to Woburn, Mass from England in 1635-40, as well as over 100 other Puritan New England immigrants of that era. He was born and farmed near Ada, Ottawa Co, KS, until approximately 1940, when he moved to a farm near Miltonvale in Cloud County. He married Inez Evangeline Hallock on Nov 30, 1905. They had eight children and today have many descendants sprinkled across the American landscape.
