Mrs. Janie Cunningham, Bryant Addition, Honey Grove, passed away Wednesday morning, February 11, 1981, at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Honey Grove. She had been ill several weeks.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cunningham were held at 11:00 o'clock Friday, February 13, 1981 in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel in Honey Grove. The Rev. H. V. Carraway and the Rev. John Lightfoot officiated. Bruial was made in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cunningham was born June 6, 1911 at McCraw's Chapel.

She was the daughter of the late James R. and Addie J. Mason Blackwood.

She married David M. Cunningham on October 18, 1931 in Choctaw County, Okla. He preceded her in death in April 1970.

She was a housewife and a member of the McKenzie United Methodist Church in Honey Grove.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Pauline) Hodges of Plano; two sons, Floyd Cunningham of Ennis and Lloyd Cunningham of Paris; her step-mother, Mrs. Laura Blackwood of Honey Grove; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Jones, Mrs. Julia Allen, Mrs. Lela Moree and Mrs. Hazel Merrell, all of Honey Grove; three brothers and nine grandchildren.
