Relatives here received a telegram the first of the week announcing the death of Mrs. George Rosenhauer at her home in Early, Iowa, on Saturday, April 9. John Beck of this city and Joe Grass of South Milwaukee left at once to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Rosenhauer (nee Annie Grass) was born in the town of Spring Prairie on Jan 19, 1857, and was 64 years of age. She was married to George Rosenhauer, who lived near Slade's corners, and about thirty-five years ago they moved to Early to reside, which place has since been their home. A husband and six children are living. The latter are: Elmer and Willie Rosenhauer, Mrs. Kate Fulcher, Mrs. Clara Green and Mrs. Lola Brady, Early, Iowa, and Mrs. Martha Hamm, Storm Lake, Iowa; also three brothers and three sisters, Ed. Grass, Nampa, Idaho; Joe Grass, South Milwaukee; Frank grass, Owatonna, Minn.; Mrs. Adam Prasch, East Troy; Mrs. Kate Wuest, Richmond, Va.; and Mrs. Abbie Beck of Burlington. Seven grandchildren are also living.

Mrs. Rosenhauer was well known and highly respected by all who knew her and had many friends in this vicinity made through her early residence and frequent visits since.
