BARTOW LAD DELL

Bartow Lad Dell, 83, of Panama City, passed away December 15, 2008 at Community Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Dell served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS New Jersey battle ship. He was an original plank holder for the Naval Coast Assistance Center. He served in Vietnam as a civilian with the US Navy.

Mr. Dell was involved in the Fabrication for Sealab #1 and Sealab #2.

He was a charter member and member of the Board of Trustees for Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Hobbies include hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Eloise Dell of Panama City Beach, 2 sons, Larry and wife Suzanne Dell of Fayettville, GA; Lynn Dell of Pensacola, FL, 1 daughter, Diane Dell Park and husband Al of Panama City, FL; 1 brother, J.B. Dell of Midland City, AL; 2 sisters, Alice Gianolio of Delray Beach, FL; Ann Voss of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Kim Dell, Tanya Jones, Robin Baker, Wayne Dell, Hal Dell, Angela McNulty and Michael McNulty; 3 great grandsons, Jacob and Nathan Jones, Tyler Baker, Brother-In-Law, Jimmy Hughes and wife Ann.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Ball assisted by Rev. Allen Newton officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 10:00-12:00PM at Woodlawn United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 219 N. Alf Coleman Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32408or Emerald Coast Hospice, P.O. Box 1530, Lynn Haven, FL 32444.
