Mrs. Dell was born in Dale County, AL, and lived in Bay County for the past 67 years. She and her late husband Bartow Lad Dell were charter members and founders of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Eloise served as Secretary-Treasurer at Woodlawn for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Eloise was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bartow in 2008 after 63 years of marriage.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Dell (Suzanne) of Fayetteville, GA and Lynn Dell (Elizabeth) of Pensacola Beach, FL; her daughter, Diane Park (Al) of Panama City; a brother, Jimmy Hughes (Ann) of Panama City; her grandchildren, Kim Stewart, Tanya Jones, Robin Baker, Wayne Dell, Hal Dell, Angela McNulty and Michael McNulty; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Nathan Jones, Tyler Baker, Cruz McNulty, Beau Stewart, and a great-granddaughter scheduled to arrive 1-22-2014.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Ball and Rev. Steve Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from1:00 PM until service time at 2:00. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eloise's name may be made to either Woodlawn UMC Building Fund, 219 N. Alf Coleman Rd., Panama City Beach, FL 32408, or to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th.
