Mrs. Perry Carrison, 74, Dies of Lingering Illness at Jackson
Mrs. Perry Carrison, 74, a former resident of Estherville, died suddenly Saturday morning at Jackson Municipal Hospital after a lingering illness of two years.

Mrs. Carrison was born Aug. 27, 1888, daughter of Ole and Bertha Grinde, near Haugsand, Norway. She was married to Percy Carrison on Jan. 18, 1912 in Estherville. They lived in Estherville for a short time following their marriage, then moved to Osage.

After a few years they moved back to Estherville where Mr. Carrison was engaged in railroad work and farming. They then moved to Aitken, Minn., where they resided until 1947 at which time they moved to Jackson.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, William of Estherville, Arnold of Windom, Minn., and two daughters, Mrs. Marion (Esther) Sampson and Mrs. Erwin (Alice) Helmich, both of Jackson, Minn. She is also survived by two sisters, Olava and Hilda, both in Norway.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at (Iowa time) in the Krause Funeral Home in Jackson, Minn. Services will be conducted by the Rev. R.E. Bauerle, pastor of the Nazarene Church, Estherville. Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery in Estherville.

Friends may call at the Krause Funeral Home in Jackson from Tuesday afternoon until time of service on Wednesday.
