Jackson, Minn. – Percy C. [Clay] Carrison, 88, died Tuesday at the Jackson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Leech Funeral Home with burial at the East Side Cemetery, Estherville.

Friends may call at the Leech Funeral Home until time of services Friday.

Mr. Carrison was born Dec. 20, 1887 at Stoughton, Wis., to William and Bertha Munson Carrison and received his education in Stoughton. He was married to Theo Grinda of Estherville Jan. 18, 1912. They farmed in Estherville and Osage and in Aitkin, Minn., before moving to Jackson in 1948 where he worked for the railroad.

Survivors include two sons, Arnold, Windom, Minn.; and William, Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Erwin Helmick, Graettinger; and Mrs. Esther Sampson, Dassel, Min.; 21 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1963, four brothers, one sister and his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 30, 1976)
