Clifton, St. Catharine, son of James Arthur and Esther May (Wallace), married 7 Nov 1943, Donna Frances Lyons, at the home of Rev D.D. Reynolds, Brookfield MO. Children born; Clifton Eugene, Edwin Ross, and Jenita Bernice Davison.
Clifton, a marksman with the rifle, served in the US Army as an automotive mechanic, and as a military policeman, attaining the grade of Technician Four. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Men's Brotherhood Director and as Trustee.
Survivors include, his wife, Donna, the 3 children, Eugene, Kirksville MO; Edwin, Kearney MO; Jenita, LaPlata MO; grandchildren, a brother Auron Brown, St. Catharine MO, a sister Nylene Morlan, Independence MO.
He was preceded by his parents, 2 granddaughters, Kathryn and Suzanne Brown; 3 brothers, Jewell, Eldon, and Prentiss; and a sister, Opal Stauber.
