Willard BEEBE Jr was the son of Willard BEEBE Sr and his first (and second) wife Mabel Frances RICH (dau of Caroline V FREEMAN who was a direct descendant of John FREEMAN of "Freeman's Farm" in Battle of Saratoga, and Mabel was also the gr granddau of Rutland, IL pioneer Elijah RICH). Willard Jr had a full sibling John Ward BEEBE (b. 20 Sep 1903 on their gr-grandfather Horace HASKINS's home farm south of the ICRR tracks in DeKalb Co, d. 3 May 1983 DeKalb Co, IL, Veteran of WWII, mard. but divorced). Willard BEEBE Jr. mard. in 1930 in Wheaton, Warren, IL to Florence Elizabeth WADE (b. 6 Aug 1911 Elgin, Kane Co, IL, d. 1995, gr grandau of Lewis WADE and his wife Haraeta BOWEN a Mayflower descendant, Florence's last address her daughter's home she shared on Rocky Glenn Way in Tewksbury, Hunterdon Co, NJ). Willard and florence had two children: Nancy Annette and Willard BEEBE III. Willard Jr died of heart failure in his sleep. He had retired after 40 years service as Secretary to and acting as Supt. of Finance for the Board of Education, an elected position. He was well-known as a friendly and helpful man who never met a person he didn't like to stop and chat with. His gr grandparents were pioneers Daniel BEEBE Sr and his wife Cynthia (nee' WOODWORTH)(DOW...Richard) (BEEBE...widowed) COMSTOCK. Willard BEEBE Jr's grandparents were Daniel BEEBE Jr and Martha Minerva HASKINS, thusly he was also the gr grandson of Horace HASKINS and his wife Polly Mariah BEBEE...the dau of pioneers from NY John BEBEE and his wife Sarah CLARK of John and Eliff (CAULKINS) CLARK.
