of DeKalb, Dies

Willard Beebe Sr., 69, of De-
Kalb, former well known resident of Sycamore community, died suddenly early Sunday morning at his rooming place, 190 West Lincoln Highway DeKalb. A coronary occlusion was the direct cause of his death.

Mr. Beebe was born in Genoa Township on July 2, 1877, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Beebe.
His wife, Rose, preceded him in death in 1933. He was a member of the First Baptist church in this city for years and had many friends here.
His sudden demise is mourned by three sons, John W. Beebe and Daniel T. Beebe of DeKalb, and Willard W. Beebe of Elgin; one daughter, Martha Spear of DeKalb; a stepson Woodrow Phelan of South Elgin; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Babbler of Genoa and Mrs. Ray Nashold of Rockford; also nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sistersand a brother.

Final rites are being accorded this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ronan Mortuary with Rev. W. G. Foote of the First Baptist church in charge. Interment will be in the Charter Grove cemetery.
