Mrs Mary C. Bussell was born in the state of Indiana May 22 1857 and died at her home in Osawatomie May 6 1915 aged 57 years 11 months and 19 days. She was married to J. W. Bussell March 16 1881 to this union 9 children were born, four girls and 5 boys; eight of whom are still living. Mrs Bussell was converted to the faith of Christ and united with the Baptist Church about 18 years ago. Though she said nothing in regard to her departure during her last illness yet she had previoysly discussed these matters with her friends and had requested a plain old fashioned service devoid of worldy sham. She was a good woman and a true christian and her husband and friends sorrow, but in the hope she has gone to be with her savior in the home over there her body rests in hope and will be raised in his likeness at the last day. May the relations and friends find comfort in the promise of him who is the ???? and the life. Funeral services were conducted by the writer a the home of the deceased May 7, 1915 Rev. Sherman Moore
