Marion Godfrey Glover passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in St. George. She was born January 13, 1927 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Bertrand R. Godfrey and Rosezella Glenn.

Marion was raised in Cardston until the age of 12, when the family moved to Logan, Utah, then to Salt Lake City, where she graduated from Jordan High School. Marion married Lewis Gordon Glover in the Salt Lake Temple on June 28, 1944. They have worked side by side in various occupations always with a loving relationship.

Marion is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had great faith and served in various church organizations. She was always generous with her talents and means. Marion taught the organ and the piano and always played for funerals. Through her legacy of music she has passed her love of music on to her family. Marion was always supportive in all that her children and grandchildren did.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Gordon Glover; son, Douglas Brent (Darlene) Glover; daughter, Nancy Marie (Russell) Drake, Rebecca Jayne (John) Clark; brother, Gordon (Virginia) Godfrey; and sister, Kathleen (Paul) Watts. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie (Paul) Hedman.

A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the St. George 17th Ward Chapel, 200 W. 500 N., St. George. Interment will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
