WENZEL PRACHEJL

Was born at Humboldt, Nebraska, February 20, 1868. He moved to Kansas in 1888 and came to Nuckolls county (sic) in 1911, where he resided up to the time of his death. He died of heart failure very suddenly Friday June 14, at his home northwest of Nelson. The funeral service was held Sunday at the home and interment was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery (sic) near Deweese. Rev. Clayton conducted the service. The wife, two sons, one daughter and his mother are left to mourn his death.

WENZEL J. PRACHEJL DEAD.

It was with deep regret that the community heard of the death of Wenzel J. Prachejl Saturday morning as he was not sick, it was hard to think that death had come to take him away.

His married daughter, Mrs. R.H. Hlavac and husband had gone over Friday evening to visit her parents and no one ever thought that death might come before morning, as Mr. Prachejl had felt happy and talked as if not a thing might ever happen. Dr. Lemoine was called at the time he died and pronounced the cause of death heart failure.

Wenzel J. Prachejl was born February 20th, 1868 in Richardson county (sic), Nebr., near Humboldt. When about 18 years old he with his parents moved from Richardson county (sic) to Decatur county (sic), Kansas. In 1912 he with his family moved to Nuckolls county (sic)near Nelson, Nebr., where he lived till death doth part.

Mr. Prachejl died at his home near, Nelson, Nebr., June 14, 1918;aged 50 years. He was married to Barbara Becwar, April 10. 1894. There was born unto them four children, three of whom with his wife and one grandchild remain to mourn the departure. One child passed away in infancy. At the time of his death his wife and sons, William and Edward Prachejl were at his bedside when death came. He also leaves a mother, four sisters, and two brothers to mourn his loss. They are as follows: Mrs. Theo Tacha, Jennings, Ka.; Mrs. Bessie Petrascek of Alabama; Mrs. Joe Petrascek, Jenning, Jan., Miss Fannie Prachejl, Fairfield, Nebr.; Henry Prachejl, Jennings, Ka.; Frank Prachejl, some place in North Platte, Nebr. His father died some ten years ago in Kansas.

The funeral was held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the home where many old friends of the family gathered to pay their last respects to the one thy had known so long. A feeling and tender discourse was given by Rev. Caton, after which he was buried in the Pleasant Hill cemetery (sic) near Deweese,Nebr.
