Ada Marie Thompson Bishop, 78, of Midland, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008, at home.Ada was born November 15, 1930, in Merkel, Texas to Bersha and Emett Thompson. She married Omer Lee Bishop on August 23, 1950 in Merkel, Texas.
She graduated from Merkel High School. Ada was a wife for 58 years, a mother of 3 children, grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 2. She moved to Midland in 1997. She was the secretary/treasurer for B-Line Filter & Supply and a co-owner of Merle Norman Studio. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Midland.
