She graduated from Merkel High School. Ada was a wife for 58 years, a mother of 3 children, grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 2. She moved to Midland in 1997. She was the secretary/treasurer for B-Line Filter & Supply and a co-owner of Merle Norman Studio. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Midland.
