Lucy Elizabeth Black was born on November 14, 1923, at Harmony, Arkansas, to the late Jess and Tula (Self) McKnight. She died November 25, 2008, at Paris Health and Rehab, in Paris, Arkansas. She was a cook and a member of the Stillwell Bible Baptist Church. She was 85 years old.
Lucy is preceded in her death by her parents, Jess and Tula McKnight; her husband, James Robert Black; a son, Charles Wilburn Black; and six brothers.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 28, 2008, at the West Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Hartman, Arkansas.
