Funeral Held For Mr S E Register Thurs.
Mr S. E. Register, 61, died Wednesday morning Fe., 13 about six o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. W. E. Stephens [Minnie Mae Register] after a four years illness. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Bethel church by Rev W R Wendt and Rev O W Coburn. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery.

Mr. Register is a member of a prominent and pioneer family of the Bethel community. He was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by one daughter Mrs Jack Wheeless [Eva Mae Register] of Rt 2 and one son Huson Register of Bethel; four sisters Mrs Stephens and Mrs V E Sojourner [Emma Jane Register] of Bethel; Mrs Lex Williamson [Mary Almedia Register] of Shreveport; Mrs Betty Dean [Elizabeth Caroline Reigster] of Rockland Texas: and three brothers Jessie, R[obert] D[elane] and C[ulford] J[ordan] Register, all of Bethel.
