She was the daughter of John Ray and Della Mae (Slyder) Vosburgh. She attended school in Grandfield and married Eddie Rushin on April 18, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA. They lived in Davidson, OK and moved to Wilburton, OK in 1993. Melba is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Rushin, parents, John and Della Vosburgh; sons, Tony Glen Haithcock and Charles Raymond Seely; brothers, Herman Vosburgh and Joe Vosburgh; daughter-in-law, Margaret Seely, sister-in-law, Wilma Vosburgh and great grandson, Brian Steel. She was a resident of Wilburton and passed away at the age of 78 at the McAlester Regional Health Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Wilburton. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Wilburton, under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home of Wilburton.
