CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND - Donald Eugene Westfall, 64, of 451 N. Centre Street, Cumberland, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at Memorial Hospital.

Born on Feb. 8, 1935, in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late Arthur Charles Westfall, Sr., and Alvina (Shingledecker) Westfall. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Westfall; and a sister, Allene Jones.

Mr. Westfall was a retired employee of the Central Y.M.C.A. and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are a wife, Carolyn (Jeffries) Westfall, Cumberland; a daughter, Pamela Sue Westfall Porter and fiancee, Brian Burkett; three sisters, Marlene Hebb, Shirley Johnson and husband, Sonny, Patricia Hite and husband, Dennis, all of Cumberland; a brother, William Westfall, Spokane, Wash.; a granddaughter, Shandi Porter and fiancee, Christian Stallings; and a great-granddaughter, Sierra Renee Stallings, both of Cumberland.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James K. Peters, officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Combine Veterans Honor Guard.

Pallbearers for Mr. Westfall will be David Lindner, Allen Robinson, Brian Burkett, Dale Weimer, James Weimer, and Francis Weimer.
