CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND —- Shirley Lee Johnson, 75, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born January 20, 1938, in Keyser, WV, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Westfall and Elvina S. (Shingledecker) Westfall. She was also preceded in death by a son: Stanley "Wiffer" O. Johnson, Jr.; and a great granddaughter: Haley Jaden Shook. A homemaker, Shirley is survived by her husband of 57 years: Stanley O. Johnson, Sr.; her daughters: Vicky L. Pattison and friend, James Portmess; and Linda K. Beeseck and husband, Kain; her sons: Steven A. Johnson; and William D. Johnson and friend, Mary Jo Dorsey, all of Cumberland, MD; her brother: William Richard Westfall, Spokane, WA; as well as nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Wayne Turner officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap. Pallbearers will be Jim Portmess, Chuck Bucy, Jr., Vance Erichson, William Becker, III, Will Dommer, Ronald Browning, Sr., and Ronald Browning, Jr.
