Obituary. Margaret Gurr Hamblin, 75, Springville, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1985, at her home of causes incident to age.

She was born April 27, 1910, at Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Wallace Marsh and Bethsheba James Gurr. She married Lyman Duane Hamblin Oct. 12, 1928 in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She did genealogy for 35 years and was a temple worker at the LDS Provo Temple. She won awards for her crocheting and knitting at the state fair. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and was active in the LDS Church, holding offices in most of the auxiliaries.

Survivors include her husband, of Springville; four daughters and three sons: Betty Jean Thomson, Bountiful; Lyman Leslie Hamblin, Orem; Wallace Duane Hamblin, Springville; Linda Lee Averett, Springville, Wanda Lou York, Toole; Dennis Curt Hamblin, Orem; Pamela Sue Logan, Oak Harbor, Wash.; 25 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters: Wallace R. Gurr, Springville; Eugene James Gurr, Springville; Mrs. Rex (Della) Searle, Spanish Fork; Mrs. David O. (Loa) Mackay, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Omar (LaVan) Hansen, Springville; and Mrs. Austin (Wanda) Barney, Ogden.

Among relatives preceding her in death were two sons; Steven Chad and Larry Dee Hamlin.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Springville 1st and 12th Wards LDS Church 840 S. 400 E. Friends may call at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S. Springville 6-8 p.m. today and one hour before services.

Burial will be in Payson City Cemetery.
