Beth Gurr Wilberg, 54, of Orem, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 1979 in the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City of leukemia.

She was born May 21, 1925 in Provo to Wallace and Bathsheba James Gurr. She married Dexter L. Wilberg on May 16, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She attended schools in Orem, graduating from Lincoln High School. She was an active member of the Orem Second LDS Ward, serving as president of the Primary and YWMIA, and as Junior Sunday School coordinator. She worked at ZCMI as a department manager of budget domestics at the University Mall since its opening.

Survivors include her husband, three sons and two daughters, Michael D. Wilberg, Provo; Kim L. Wilberg, Ogden; Jan C. Wilberg, Patricia Batley and Mrs. George (Elaine) Rohbock, all of Orem; eight grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters. Wallace Gurr, Eugene Gurr, Mrs. Lyman (Margaret) Hamblin and Mrs. Omar (Lavon) Hansen, all of Springville; Mrs. Rex (Della) Searle, Spanish Fork; Mrs. David (Loa) McKay, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Austin (Wanda) Barney, Ogden.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Orem Second LDS Ward, 400 E. 400 N. under the direction of Bishop Delile Cramer.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State, Orem, and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the ward chapel. Burial will be in Orem City Cemetery.
