Chico Enterprise-Record, Tuesday, April 8, 1975: "Nettie A. Isham. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brusie Funeral Home for Nettie Anna Isham, 87, of Fimple and Durham-Dayton Roads, who died Monday at a local convalescent hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1887, in Bellvue, Colo., she received her early education there. She came to the Durham area in 1929 with her husband, William Franklin Isham, and since 1935 had owned a ranch on Fimple road. Her husband died in 1934. She was a member of the Alta Rebekah Lodge 273 in Durham. Survivors include two sons, Ira of Chico and William of Depot Bay, Ore.; a sister, Mable Cooley of Cacheon, Ariz.; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Rev. Les Altermatt of the Church of the Brethren will officiate with Alta Rebekah Lodge 273 members, Florence Leeds, noble grand; Ellen Sumpter, vice grand; and Mattie Mews, chaplain. Joyce Bae will be organist and Ron Palmer soloist. Pallbearers will be George Leeds, Jerry Mann, David Kidd, Floyd Brown, Carl Criss and Rollo Parker. Interment will follow at the Dayton Cemetery."
