Chico Enterprise-Record, Monday, August 13, 1956 :
"Cora May Cole.
Mrs. Cora May Cole, who resided in Durham since 1925, died at the Butte County Hospital in Oroville Saturday afternoon. She was born on March , [sic] 1893, in Fort Collins , Colo. where she was reared and received her early education. As a young woman she moved to Arizona and married Floyd Amator there in 1916. In 1925 they moved to Durham . In 1939 Mr. Amator died. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Durham Community Church and Durham Grange No. 460. Survivors include three children, Mrs. Mable Clendenin, of Portland, Ore.; and Mrs. Evelyn Bradshaw, and Aubry Amator, both of Durham; two brothers, Irving Yockey of Chico and Ernest Yockey, of Durham, three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Foster, of Ft. Collins, Colo.; Mrs. Mable Coley of Wickenburg, Ariz.; and Mrs. Nettie Isham of Durham; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Brusie Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. and interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery ."
