Born in Redfield, he was the son of Adelbert Keeney & Elizabeth Mae Stupor. Brother of Ethel (Byrnes), Edith (Bartlett), Clinton & Glenn Keeney.

Clayton J. Keeney
CAMDEN — Clayton J. Keeney, 62, of 7 Main St., died early this morning at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Syracuse.

Born Sept. 11, 1916 in Redfield, he was the son of Adelbert and Elizabeth Mae Stupor Keeney. He attended Redfield schools and served in World War II overseas. He was employed at NAPA Auto Parts Warehouse in Syracuse, and during the last seven years at Young Furniture Co., Camden.

Survivors are a son, James Keeney of Canastota; a daughter, Mrs. Judy Allen, residing in Germany; five grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn of Pineville, and Clinton of Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Bartlett of Redfield, and Mrs. Ethel Mae Byrnes of New Hartford.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Foster Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Virgil Hager officiating. Burial will be in Redfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
