Born in Redfield, she was the daughter of Adelbert Keeney & Elizabeth Mae Stuper. Sister of Ethel (Byrnes), Clayton, Clinton & Glenn Keeney.

She was the wife of Frank D. Barlett, their daughter was Jean Bartlett Mills. They lived their lives in Redfield.

She had worked for Rome Cable then at various local restaurants.

REDFIELD — Edith P. Bartlett, 68, of Redfield died late Tuesday evening in the House of the Good Samaritan in Watertown.

She was born April 7, 1913 in Redfield, the daughter of Adelbert and Elizabeth Stuber Keeney. She attended the Osceola Schools and was married to Frank D. Bartiett. April
1929. They lived in Redfield their entire lives. He died in 1968.

She was employed for awhile by the Rome Cable Co., Rome, and later worked at various restaurants in the Redfield area. She was a member of the Redfield Community Church and was a member and Past Noble Grand of the Redfield Rebekah Lodge. She was a past member of the Redfield Home Bureau.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jean Mills of Redfield; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Byrnes of Rome; and a brother. Glenn Kinney of Pineville. One of her children, Frank G. Bartlett died in 1965.

Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Foster Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. the Rev. Virgil Hager of Sandy Creek Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Redfield Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today
