Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19 at 2 p.m. in the Clearwater Lutheran Church at Shevlin for Mrs. Hulda C. Evenwoll, 71, who passed away at the Lutheran Hospital in Bemidji Sunday morning, December 14. rev. P.C. Oas will officiate, with burial to be made in the cemetery of that church.
Mrs. Hulda Carlson Evenwoll was born in Sweden, April 28, 1876, and came to this country in 1882. She resided at Underwood, Minnesota, until 1905, at which time she came to Clearwater County in the Shevlin community. She was married in 1905 at Shevlin to Olouis Evenwoll.
Mrs. Evenwoll is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clara Johnson of McMinville, Oregon, two sons, Herbert of Shevlin and Allen of Hibbing; two sons by a previous marriage, Sewell P. Nelson of Shevlin and Lawrence Nelson of Richmond, Minnesota; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Katherine Newberger of Minneapolis. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma Holm of Bemidji, two brothers, Edward Carlson of Shevlin and Frank Carlson of Everett, Washington; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
