Edna M. Frese, 88, of Haxtun, died May 26, 1998 in Haxtun. The funeral services were Friday, May 29, at Tennant thompson Mortuary in Haxtun with Rev. Tom Peacock officiating. Burial was at Haxtun Cemetery.
Mrs. Frese was born Dec. 18,1909 to Frank and Ethel Linscott Lambert at home south of Haxtun. She married Carl Frese in 1948 in St Francis, Kansas.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Wood of Haxtun, and Maxine Powers of Wray, two sons Harold Slizeski of New Caney, Texas, and Larry Frese of Sterling, four sisters. Iva Davis of Linden, California, Helen Pettit of Northglenn, Myrtle Weers of Longmont, and Dorothy Sturges of Ukiah, California, numerous grand-children and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by two husbands, two sons and seven brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Americcan Diabetes Association.
