HAXTUN- Funeral services for Walker Lambert of Haxtun will be conducted 2 p.m. today for the Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Roy Pflaltxgraff officiating.
Burial will follow in the Haxtun Cemetery.
Mr. Lambert died Thursday in a Haxtun Hospital. He was 75.
He was born April 27, 1908, the son of Frank and Ethel Linscott Lambert and attended a country school near the family homestead north of Dailey and later worked for the railroad. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during WWII.
Mr. Lambert married Hazel Dell Freemyer Aug. 1 1945 in St Francis, Kansas, and the couple lived on a farm 13 miles south of Hsxtun until 1950 when they moved to Haxtun.
Mrs. Lambert died in October 1983.
Mr lambert is survived by four sons; Kenneth Lambert of Sterling, Roger Lambert, Gary Lambert and Rodney lambert of Haxtun; five sisters, Mrs. Edna Frese of Crook, Mrs. Myrtle Weers of Longmont, Mrs. Iva Davis and Dorothy Sturges of California, and Helen Pettit of Northglenn; five brothers, Wallace Lambert, Lester Lambert both of Haxtun, Lloyd Lambert and Lyle Lambert both of Sterling, Harold Lambert of Greeley,and five grandchildren.
