A Mass for William V. Lockwood, 82, of South Amboy will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Marys Church, South Amboy, after the funeral from the Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, 237 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy.

Mr. Lockwood, who died Sunday in the Kindred Rehab Center, Rahway, was the founder, owner and operator of Lockwood Boat Works, Inc. in Morgan.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard the USS Frederick Funston.

Born in Roselle, he lived in South Amboy for 80 years.

Surviving are daughters, Cathy Wisneski, Pat Rose, Mary Ann Langan, Janet OConnor, Judy Speicher, Ellen Harrigan and Theresa; sons, Michael, Bill and Robert; a brother, Joseph, and 25 grandchildren.
