Lela Marie Thacker Morgan, 60, 1194 E. 360 S., Provo, died Sunday in a Salt Lake hospital of heart failure.
Born June 26, 1910 in Charleston, Wasatch County, she was a daughter of Charles David and Alice Jane Wagstaff Thacker. She married Ray R. Morgan July 30, 1930 in Parowan. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Garth R. Morgan, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Orland (Phyllis) Halterman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Michael B. (Marva) Richardson, Spanish Fork; her mother of Heber City; nine grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Clarence (LaPrele) Stoker, Clearfield; Mrs. Ernest (Ida) Carter, Orem; Mrs. Floye (Lois) Bonner, Midway; Mrs. Dave (Luella) Hellewell, Ogden; Mrs. William (Mae) Wright, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Calvin (Carma) Crook; Heber City; Mrs. Wesley (VauNess) Stott, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Lyle V. Thacker, Heber City; Lowell D. Thacker, Whiterocks, Uintah County.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Heber Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Heber Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday before services. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery.

Lela had diabetes for years She was at St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment where she died suddenly from a heart attack on June 28, 1970. It was a shock to the family.
