Lois Thacker Bonner 1912 ~ 2006

Lois Thacker Bonner was born July 26, 1912 in Charleston and died March 18, 2006 of natural causes in her home in Midway.

Wife of Floyd Bonner and mother of six: Barbara Lister (Jerry), Midway; Kaye, Midway; Bill (Ruth), Richland, WA; Linda Rees (Steve), Salem, UT; Larry (Ellen), Midway; Clark (Amy), West Jordan. She was the grandmother of 29, great-grandmother of 47 and great-great-grandmother of three. Lois was loved by many and was always a diligent worker in the gospel of Christ.

She served two missions, one in Minnesota and the other in the Denver Temple as well as serving as Relief Society president, Primary president and in many other positions. She was a faithful visiting teacher for 66 years. Her love, devotion and encouragement will be missed by family and friends. A Joyous reunion has taken place with her husband Floyd, her parents, and other family as we rejoice in her life and her impact on our lives here below.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at the Midway Stake Center (165 N. Center, Midway). Funeral services will be on Thursday, at 12 noon in the Midway Stake Center (165 N. Center, Midway) with a viewing 10:30-11:30 prior to services. Interment will be in the Midway Cemetery
