Died at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1981, at his residence in Walker. He was 60 and a native of Walker. He was a self-employed contractor and carpenter.

Visiting at Carroll Baptist Church, Walker, until religious services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Willis Ray Curtis and the Rev. Ronald Beasley. Burial in Vickers Cemetery.

Survived by his wife, Wilma Marie Montgomery Williams, Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Tommy (Edwina Lea) Shipp and Mrs. Carroll (Margie) Graham, both of Walker; four sons, Mitch Williams, Baptist, Marvin R., Joe Kelly and Carl Allen Williams, all of Walker; five sisters, Edna Covington, Alice Lockhart, Bonnie Lockhart and Hazel Galloway, all of Walker, and Freda Byrd, Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Roy Williams and Elmon Williams, both of Walker; and 15 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father, B. D. Williams; mother, Ola Graham Williams; a sister, Dorothy Williams; and a brother, Norris Williams.

Pallbearers are Billy Clayton, Nelson Husser, Wesley Murphy, Jimmy Merrill, E. C. "Bull" Patterson and Bill Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Millbrook Hunting Club.

He was a member of Judson Baptist Church and Millbrook Hunting Club. Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, in charge of arrangements.
