Alice Williams Lockhart, of Walker, LA, born September 22, 1918 went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2018 after reaching her 100th birthday. Alice was a lifelong resident of Walker and longtime, faithful and current oldest member of Walker Baptist Church, since 1944 serving many areas of ministry. The verse that exemplifies her most is Proverbs 31:28, “her children rise up and call her blessed. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Walker Baptist Church, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery, Walker, LA. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
