Booneville--Julius Bolian (Dooley) McCoy, 87, died Tuesday, Oct 21,2008, at Landmark Nursing and Rehab in Booneville. He was born Jan. 17, 1921 in Pike County to William and Elizabeth Criswll Bolian. When both parents died in his childhood, he was adopted by James A. (Cap) and Vivian McCoy. He was a retired boiler engineer with Hall Printing of Mississippi and a member of the Booneville Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing and watching sports on T.V.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jim Estes officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Etoile Barnes Galloway McCoy; two daugthers, Beth Ramsey of Memphis and Ann Breidenstein of Round Hill, Va; one son, Robert (Betty) McCoy of Los Vegas, Nev.; two step daugther, Bobbie (Mark) Johnson of Booneville and Jan (Doug) Pike of Corinth; one stepson, Harold (Jimmy Lynn) Galloway of Ocean Spring; a daugther-in-law, Martha Galloway of Madison, Ala. 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents; his adopted parents; a stepson, Jimmie Galloway; a step-daugther; Katherine Jones; four brothers and three sisters; and two grandsons,Rick Galloway and John David Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Friday at the funeral home.
